In June we were privileged to once again provide the photography for The Dance Company. Their staff really out did themselves this year with Morgan coming up with some really creative group posing and Patricia keeping everything running smooth. As always, our Christmas Ornaments were the hit of the day. Below is a little something that highlights their Lead dancers and individual dancers. They just keep getting better and better! HAD July Photo Shoot Highlights

We just completed photographing the HAD dancers and they were fantastic. Sasha Gilger was amazing in her role as Dance Stylist and we look forward to working with her again, soon! High Energy at The Dance Company in Long Beach CA

We are looking at some great images from a recent dance shoot at The Dance Company in Long Beach. They are a high energy group led by Donna Blanchard and Morgan Lightholder. Patricia Quinones did an amazing job of organizing and coordinating two full days of onsite photography while Morgan took on the role of Dance Stylist. She is truly gifted. We photographed both individuals and groups in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and tap. I am amazed at the diversity and depth of The Dance Company staff.

Their “The Happiest Place on Earth” recital was yesterday and today and from everything we experienced it has to have been a wonderful experience for all who performed and attended. Congratulations to The Dance Company of Long Beach! We can’t post all the images from our shoot but here are just a few of the standouts!

We have been blessed to have been HAD’s photographer of choice for their dance studio photography for 15+ years. We were looking for a way to acknowledge their accomplishments and we believe we have found an exciting idea for student, parent and the studio: The Dance Studio Composite!

We developed a composite featuring a couple of their dance classes as well as the individual dancers. A beautiful 20×24 print now hangs proudly for all to enjoy and be reminded of the rewards of dedicated, hard work.

Thank you Miss Kimberly, the entire studio staff, dancers and parents for a year of excellence!

In January we were privileged to once again provide the photography for The Dance Company. Their staff really outdid themselves this year with Morgan coming up with some really creative group posing and Patricia keeping everything running smooth. Our Christmas Ornaments once again were the hit of the day. We decided to provide something a little extra for them and produced the composite below highlighting their Lead dancers and individual dancers of the day. Thanks again!

We recently had the privilege of photographing at The Dance Co. in Long Beach CA. They are a wonderful dance studio with a dedicated staff and committed dancers. Their upcoming STARS/Thumbelina Ballet Recital is this coming Saturday, February 5th. Visit their website to get the details. “Light the Night” – A Great Halloween Alternative

Every year our church hosts a wonderful alternative to Halloween. We call it: Light the Night

The specific intent of having the event on October 31st each year is to provide a safe alternative to Trick or Treating and other Halloween activities. Light the Night is also a bridge building event designed to open the campus to the community. It’s free to the public except for Food sales which is very nominal. They offer a number of age specific activities including cupcake walks and games for our Little Light the Night visitors, game booths and face painting for older kids and a band for teenagers! Each year they give away over two tons of candy, 500 cakes, 300 cupcakes with over 5,000 people attending.

We were privileged to photograph families in The Pumpkin Patch. It was a hoot. Hope you see you there next year!

Ballet Etudes – Huntington Beach’s Own Youth Ballet Company

We are privileged this year to have been invited to give back to the community in the form of doing some ‘pro bono’ photography for Huntington Beach’s youth ballet company: Ballet Etudes.

They have an annual Christmas performance of The Nutcracker coming with five performances at the Huntington Beach High School Auditorium.

Saturday, December 4th at 7 pm
Sunday, December 5th at 2 pm
Saturday, December 11th at 2 pm AND 7 pm
Sunday, December 12th at 2 pm

“L” is now a Big Two Year Old
